Behind the Cover- "Politikkks"

I dropped a new song today called "Politikkks" & I know the cover is pretty interesting to say the least...(cont.)

To me, the best songs I write are done immediately. Not even thinking about it, images unfold from my head to my notepad in a seamless matter and before I know it I have a full song. This was the case with "Politikkks".  I was watching as President Obama signed into law a bill to avert the fiscal cliff & was thinking about how many people it either didn't effect or just didn't give a fuck. Whether you choose to acknowledge it, there is a whole other form of government going on right in our front yards. This government is set up like ours consisting of a Commander in chief, house of representatives, population, and real matters are being debated daily. Just as we, the United States, have laws and Punishments so does it. A person can live their entire life in this beautiful country and never feel the effects good or bad that CNN reports. (Land of the fucking free, you gotta love it!) On the downside, you can live beneath the radar forever but don't think that your not making a beep on the screen because one thing about, you will only be able to do what the "Man" allows you to.

I wanted to remake the Amerikkka's nightmare cover because to me, it represents a lot of whats going on today in our country. staying not far from Pulaski Tennessee, the birth place of the Klu Klux Klan, Ive seen first hand that they are still alive and in practice. Also, on every other channel you turn someone is talking about a gun ban, and not to mention all of the political injustice that we have to just swallow because it isn't much we can do about it. Spice 1 is standing up in the middle of all of this with a ready 2 die attitude and he's not going down without a fight and that mentality defines my musical statement.

Im currently working on some new music for my Books n Guns project. Here is "Politikkks" with my homie Heartbeatz on the production.
